A few months ago I gave Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh Vital Proteins X Poosh Blueberry and Lemon Collagen Vibes a try.Since I’ve been using it which I started daily then as I tried other brands which are more reasonably priced I started using it less frequently still I use several data a week. Anyway it’s very flavorful with just a tinge of lemony flavor. Usually I just mix it up in water in my blender bottle which I normally make the previous night so after I exercise and get my daughter up for breakfast I just take it from the refrigerator, get our breakfast and eat.
What I’ve noticed since taking collagen of various brands really is that my toe nails don’t grow as fast or as thick so when I trim it it’s much easier because it doesn’t grow so thick that it breaks which also made it difficult to maintain trimmings. Collagen also helps with skin elasticity and hair growth.
If you look at the Poosh site you’ll also see they have the pink moon collagen which is used before bed because it has melatonin in it. For me I also like it but for me it’s a pain to make because the powder doesn’t mix in just regular water. It needs to be warm so for me it would look something like this:
1) Get blender bottle,blender ball
2) Get a cup and fill it with water
3) place in microwave for 30 seconds and take out
4)Place warm microwaved water in blender bottle then proceed to fill it with more water to place in the microwave for 30 seconds
5) Take out and place in blender bottle
6) Get the collagen and place 1-2 scoops depending on the day and my calorie count/exercise regimen in the blender bottle then shake it up
7) Wait for 15-30 minutes to make sure it mixes well then place in the refrigerator
Also when you look for high quality collagen be sure it’s organic grass fed bovine peptides. As time goes on I might try other types of collagen like chicken or marine. If and when I do I’ll be sure to post a review on it. If you are new to learning about collagen here’s some good reads to start:
