Miyoko’s Vegan Cream Cheese Original

Usually when I buy cream cheese I get the Kite Hill brand but I thought I’d switch it up to see what Miyoko’s tasted like since I’ve heard some good reviews on it. I bought it and tried it. While my daughter likes it I didn’t. It tasted not bad,texture was good but the tangy flavor which is probably from the coconut cream I think I didn’t like. It seems that Daiya’s cream cheese is similar so I’m not even going to try it because I imagine taste is similar to Miyoko’s. If I see other brands without coconut cream aside kite hill I might give it a try. But for now as far as Vegan Cream Cheese goes kite hill is my favorite! Kite Hill Cashew Cream

Have you ever tried Cashew cream cheese instead of the regular cream cheese? I’ve never tried until I made Black Beans Sweet Potatoes Flauta which I’ve adapted to my liking. My version of the recipe doesn’t include tortillas or placing it in the oven. I’ll post my version later but when you mix it in wow it tastes so much better than with cream cheese! Their yogurts are also delicious.
